Optimum is an American Internet, television, mobile and home phone company serving Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, and West Virginia.
What was my role?
Being an Experience Designer in Projekt202, I worked on an Optimum mobile project along with my other two Sr. Experience Designers from Projekt202. I was working as an individual contributor for some time and then as an embedded expert for the rest of the time of my duration of work with them.
As an individual contributor I was helping my P202 team with their new Redesign library, I was responsible for adding new components to the design system and its maintenance.
As an embedded expert I was working with the Marketing team of Optimum Mobile comprised of a Project Manager, other UX Designers, and the Director of E-commerce Content Strategy at Altice USA.
I was working in a sprint every week, where I was assigned a page or two every week for a responsive website redesign. Redesign consisted of strategizing page layout, making it responsive for both web and mobile, making new components, and adding them to the right section in the design system, it was presented to the Leadership team, and multiple other stakeholders, and as per the feedback designs were continuously iterated.
Pages I worked on in sprint are 'Our plans', 'All Deals', 'Why Us', 'Black Friday Deals'.
Worked in a fast-paced, agile environment.
